Is subscription to your Web site mandatory to use your software products? |

No. Subscribing to our site is not mandatory (e.g.: www.thebabyalbum.net). It is simply a complementary service offered with our
"souvenir" type software products, such as Baby Album. Our software products offer other methods to share your albums with your loved ones (e.g.: export on CD-ROM, publish it to the web site of your choice, etc). The subscription to our sites remains optional.

Do I need to have Internet access to use your products? |

No. Our "souvenir" type software (such as Baby Album) does not require an Internet connection to be used. Your albums are built and stored on your computer. You need a connection to the Internet
only if you want to publish your albums on the Web to share them with your loved ones.

I have to format my computer/get a new computer. What should I do to avoid loosing my data? |

Our "souvenir" type software (such as Baby Album) provides features to backup your data. Before formatting your hard drive or changing your computer, make a backup copy of your data and burn the file on a CD-ROM or
keep it on another computer. You can then restore your data from this file when the software will be reinstalled by choosing "Tools -> Options" from the main menu.

I had a problem with my computer and I lost all my data. What can I do now? |

If you have lost all your data due to a computer problem or a virus, you will only be able to restore your data if you previously had made a backup copy. Depending on the software version you are using, two methods are available
to make and restore backup data.
Backup on your hard drive: This function is available from all software versions (Basic and Full Edition). This enables you to make and restore from backup copies stored directly on your computer. This backup can be done manually or automatically every time
the software is launched. The software generates a file with the .BCK extension. This BCK file contains all your data (text, pictures, video clips, etc.). This file can be burn on a CD-ROM and kept in a safe place.
On www.albumdebebe.net: If you own the Full Edition of Baby Album and are a subscriber to the www.thebabyalbum.net site, a backup copy of your data is stored on this site every time you update your album. You will
hence be able to restore all your data from this site. To restore your data, launch the software and choose "File -> Import an album -> From your account on www.thebabyalbum.net", then type your username and password to connect to the server.
